Soberboy is Farhad B., a house DJ and producer whose music resists a single genre label — deep, tech and organic in equal measure.

Resident in Dubai and a fixture of the UAE's electronic scene since 2005, he has held more than a dozen residencies, played over a hundred shows across most of the city's clubs, and curated music for five-star hotels and restaurants.

Internationally he has headlined in Thailand, Indonesia, Serbia, Romania, Turkey, Qatar, Bahrain, Armenia, Singapore, Oman and Azerbaijan — with dates at Miss Fish and Shady Pig in Bali, Loft Mamaia in Constanța, Mladost in Belgrade, Unique Terrace & Lounge in Tbilisi and Bagatelle Beach Club in Doha, alongside special performances for Formula 1, Audio Culture, Wake Up Call and Sound Tulum.

In the summer of 2025 Hugel and Bob Sinclar played his track Please Stop It at the Hï Ibiza opening; the moment passed two million views. The record reached number eleven on Beatport with two million plays inside a month, and In the Clouds took a top-three DJ chart position. Beatport named him Best Hype New Melodic House & Techno in August 2025. What's On Dubai named him Best Breakthrough DJ in 2016.

The name is about the music. His sets are built to take a room on a journey — the point being that you need nothing in your system to make it.
